BIOGRAPHY
The band is born in 2002, when YndyT. Witch(drums)
and Poxifer(guitar) decide to start a band, uniting their common passion
for Heavy music. During the summer 2003,
bass player and singer Bapho Matt joins the band..
Story Of Jade go on for a while as a power trio playing some gig around
Florence and making from one of these shows the live demo "the
Live On Guilt Boot-Leg".
In April 2005 the line-up is complete when Andy Gore (lead guitar)
joins the band.
With the new member the band re-arrange all the songs giving to the
composition an higher technical level.
Story Of Jade play several gigs around Tuscany, where they've been
appreciated by audience and local promoters, receiving good live reviews
by metal web communities of Tuscany.
In October 2005, Story Of Jade start recording their first studio
demo cd, "The Factory Of Apocalypse", released on February
2006, earning good reviews from the official italian Metal press,
such as Metal Maniacs (7/10) and Metal Shock ("watch-out"
demo), Metal Hammer and from several italian and international webzines
as well.
So they go on playing more gigs, start working with Valentina Nesi
, theatre actress that plays a crazy-evil-sexy and powerfull Jade
on stage. On January 2007 Story Of Jade
have the chance to open for NECRODEATH at Siddhata, and here they
present 3 new songs (When you hear the sirens, Burnt Inn, Condamned
to kill).
In February, due to personal problems, Poxifer decide to leave the
band.
So Story Of Jade decide in a first moment to go on as a trio once
again, but after a proposal and a rehearsal, Matt Mortar (guitar)
join the band as...an offer you can't refuse!
About now the band is working on new material and trying to play more
gigs as possible!!!
The sound of the band is a "bland"
of our personal influences, we like to call it Extreme Horror Heavy
Metal, going from Classic Metal, mostly, to Thrash to Extreme Metal
in general, giving to our image a touch of evil using face painting,
theatre effects and theatrical performances. The lyrics are mostly
ironical, talking often about Horror, religion and bigots, and of
course about Rock 'n Roll!!!
